 Pastor
Tim is a native of Springhill, Louisiana, graduating from Springhill
High School in 1983. He continued his
education at Louisiana Tech University with a BS degree in Math
Education in 1988. He went on to graduate from Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary with a Master’s Degree (MDIVBL) in 1995. He
finished up his education with a Doctorate of Ministry from Southwest
Bible College and Seminary in 2004.
Tim realized God’s call to serve as pastor while at Temple Baptist Church in Springhill, Louisiana. He was also licensed and ordained there in the following years. He was Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Maud, Texas for more than 10 years. The church grew by more than 50% during that time. Prior to that he was Pastor of First Baptist Church, Deport, Texas for more than 5 years. During this time he has been active in his local Baptist Associations, his local school districts, and many other ministries. He has also been able to work with Lifeway Christian Resources as a Ministry Multiplier. This has given him numerous opportunities to speak and teach at various conferences. Pastor Tim joined our staff in December 2005. His wife, LaRonna, sons Jarod and Tanner, along with his daughter Jessalyn round out Countryside's first family. |
