At the start of Mark 2, Jesus enters a house that begins to fill up with people desiring to meet Him and see miracles performed, including 4 people who love their paralyzed friend so much that they wouldn't allow him to miss it. Have you ever been moved with compassion toward someone or something? The Greek word translated "compassion" may have a deeper meaning than you previously thought. In this passage of Mark's gospel, Jesus' actions are fully displayed for the world to see as He continues to travel from town to town preaching, healing the sick, and casting demons out of people.
