Jesus’ Apostles are about to take part in one of the most well known miracles in history, the feeding of the 5,000+. While they don’t know this is coming, Jesus does, and He commands them to “rest a little while”. Do you intentionally find time for rest in your busy schedule? Weariness leads to wastefulness but resting recharges us for Christs kingdom work.

Where do you find your identity? Prior to becoming an ambassador for Christianity, the Apostle Paul was held in the highest esteem by the leadership of the Jewish community. Yet, he considered it all worth nothing in comparison to knowing Jesus Christ and the power of His resurrection.

To begin the most significant week of the year, Holy Week, Jesus enters Jerusalem on a small donkey. However, what He finds is nothing less than a disappointment: His people are expecting a different kind of Messiah, and it won't take long for them to dismiss Him, even through unjust trial and death. Will you be ripe for God when Christ returns, or will you be waiting for a savior who suits your agenda?
