When things don't go as planned, sometimes we respond in a variety of ways. In Colossians 3, the Apostle Paul is writing about a very difficult situation from a very difficult situation. As he pens this letter from prison, he continues encouraging the church, including slaves, to focus on the things above and obey God even in the most difficult situations.
